Job Summary:
As a NetApp Order Fulfillment Planner, you are part of a team responsible for confirming the Sales Order Ship Date scheduled by the system through working with CM(Contractor Manufacturer) to maximize revenue and improve customer delivery metrics. In addition, you may help test data from newly implemented tools such as SAP IBP ATP (Available to Promise) Scheduling or Oracle Cloud. You need Supply Chain knowledge including process flow from Order Entry to Order Fulfillment, BOM attributes, planning attributes such as Lead-Time, Buy or Make item, and how MRP works in Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Fully understand BOM, Planning Attributes, MRP Logics such as Supply and Demand balancing, Sales Oder fulfillment process and Order rescheduling.
- Manage the sales order request date and track supply status to maximize the revenue and improve Customer Delivery Metrics such as OTS (Original To Promise) and LTA (Lead-Time Attainment).
- Understand how Supply Chain works from Demand Forecast, Order Booking to Order fulfillment and ship out from logistic centers.
- Communicate with customer facing team (Americas Sales Operations) on build delays, expediting requests, potential risks to ship dates, and customer escalations.
- Able to run analytical reports by using Macro and Excel to highlight issues and communicate the actions for the team to follow up.
- Help on SAP ATP (Available-to-Promise) Scheduling Project, which requires to understand BOM attributes, Lead-time, Inventory, Purchase Order, Purchase Requisition, Bookings, Backlog, Factory Commit Date and Ship Date.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree is required with Concentrations on Business/Supply Chain Operations/Information System.
- A Minimum of 3 years’ Supply Chain work experience in Demand Planning, Material /Supply Planning, Manufacturing Operations or Order Fulfillment.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft applications and Oracle (and its cloud) ERP or SAP ERP Applications.
- Outstanding skills in data analytics, and comfortable with Excel functions.
- Able to prioritize the tasks, influence others and drive the results within the deadlines.
- Must support business at US Pacific time zone from about 7 am to 4 pm; or from 8 am to 5 pm, PST.
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $26-40/Hr
