Additional Scope Details: Technical Product Manager
- Engage with business users to collect user requirements in order to provide storage infrastructure and solutions based on technologies available within the bank. Work with engineering to drive new features and technologies to meet business needs. Role requires extensive documentation, consultative approach and superior soft skills. Once a technology or solution has been designed by the engineering team, the TPM will essentially project manage the deployment. Examples could be new SAN platform or Ransomware solutions. If a business unit will connect to NetApp ASA, the TPM would work with engineering teams to determine storage needs and determine host connectivity and other technical requirements are met.
- This is not a system access, hands on keyboard role. This is not an engineering, system certification, or architecture role.
Responsibilities:
- Support business unites to collect requirements, facilitate technical discussions enabling technical team members to better understand users requirements, acceptance criteria and detailed product specs in order to communicate to engineering teams
- Facilitate problem solving and prioritization across teams
Job Requirements:
- Technical requirements for current projects will need a high level understanding of the following technologies
- NetApp ASA Block Storage -iSCI
- NetApp Autonomous Ransomware Protection
- Cohesity Ransomware Protection
- Network and Security framework
- Project management needs
- Craft project framework, strategy, objectives and major milestones
- Formulate business cases
- Develop design, architecture diagrams, process flows and strategy deck
- Familiarity with collaboration tools like Confluence, Horizon and Office tools
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $50-80/Hr
