Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Project Manager to lead a large global engineering project. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing a VM/Kubernetes hypervisor deployment across four of our engineering sites located in RTP, NC; Bangalore, India; Wichita, Kansas, and Sunnyvale, California. This role requires a understanding of global project management. An understanding of virtualization technologies is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of hypervisor deployments across multiple global sites.
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
  • Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
  • Track project milestones and deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management
  • Certifications in Project Management (PMP) and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) are highly desirable.
  • Understanding of virtualization technologies and Kubernetes.
  • Experience in managing global projects with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Jira and Confluence Software Experience
  • No travel
  • Mix of onsite and work from home desirable but not a deal breaker for the right candidate.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $80-100/Hr
