We are seeking a senior well versed admin in compute virtulization for our global NetApp engineering labs and data center. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of Proxmox or OpenStack, and VMWare, virtualization technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Work with key stakeholders to help drive the implementation of Proxmox and/or OpenStack solutions across our engineering labs and data center.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to the required activities and work
• Provide guidance and support to the implementation team during the deployment phase.
• Monitor the performance of the deployed solutions and make recommendations for improvements.
• Implement the solution across 4 technology sites: RTP, NC; Bangalore, India; Wichita, Kansas; and Sunnyvale, California.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as system admin in compute virtualization
• Deep understanding of Proxmox and virtualization technologies.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization, and networking.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $55-70/Hr
