Description:

Our India region has a need for a backfill resident Engineer to support Walmart. This will be a 11 month backfill residency with a target start date of 6/16/25 and is likely to renew.

Scope of work:
1. Location: 100% Onsite in Bangalore
2. Full time PS resident - 11 months (likely to renew)

Required Skills:
Automation Ansible
Automation ONTAP (AI)

Mandatory skills:
3-5 years’ Experience in developing Web services using Python or building backend automation scripts using Python . Exposure to Django, FastAPI is added advantage.
2+ years of experience in Databases (SQL Queries, RDBMS). Preferably in Postgres/Mysql.
Must be well versed with Agile development, Github, CI/CD, Unit/Functional test development

Nice to Have:
Exposure to infrastructure automation.
Ability to develop/use Ansible or Terraform
Experience developing container-based applications (micro services)
Experience in developing UI (React/NodeJS/Angular or equivalent)

Workplace Requirements:
Need to work from Bangalore Walmart location for minimum of 2 days in a week (Specific days of week will be communicated)
Co-ordinate development with onsite/offsite model.
Need to be flexible to attend 1 or 2 meetings in a week around 9pm IST to collaborate with US counter parts.

Strong problem resolution skills including the ability to drive problem and problem bridges.
Effectively communicate with internal customers, peers, and managers regarding storage administration issues.
