Our East region has a need for a new resident Consultant to support Bank of America. This will be a 16 month residency with a target start date of 9/3/24 and is likely to renew.

1. Location: 100% remote

Additional Scope Details:
- ONTAP subject matter expertise with 7+ years of experience, 5+ years ONTAP SAN (block protocols FC and iSCSI)
- 5+ years VMware Vcenter server
- Demonstrated xpertise with NetApp Snap business continuity and disaster recovery tools and how to use them. Assist with Disaster Recovery (“DR”) planning, data archival planning, and data migration planning
- Expertise with EMC block technologies and migrations
- Experience Networking, VLANs SAN Switching
- Expertise with Windows and Linux SAN host connectivity and troubleshooting
- Bash / Python scripting
Demonstrated experience with:
- Integrating storage management best practices into the Customer’s operational framework
- Promoting documentation of the NetApp environment and recommended storage management best practices. Document standard system configurations and processes according to Customer requirements
- Guiding NetApp Data ONTAP and firmware upgrades and recommendations
- Providing NetApp Global Support Center (“GSC”) coordination
- Testing and certifing new versions and features of ONTAP according to Customer requirements – specific to SAN
- Reviewing existing system configurations and explore areas to consolidate and optimize
- Defining storage requirements for processes and tasks (which may be automated by separate NetApp teams, outside the scope of SMC Resident Services)

Requires excellent soft skills, experience with large enterprise environments, consultancy mindset
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay for this position: $50-80/Hr
